Shanno Shagufta Khan is a senior legal professional who has been practicing advocacy for over 23 years at the Madhya Pradesh High Court. She is widely recognized for her fearless commitment to human rights and social justice, and has consistently worked to protect and empower the most vulnerable members of society-especially women, children, and the economically marginalized. For over a decade, she was closely associated with the Human Rights Law Network (HRLN), where she served as the director of HRLN in Madhya Pradesh. During her tenure, she provided free legal assistance in landmark cases involving HIV-positive individuals, persons with disabilities, minor rape survivors, acid attack victims, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and survivors of domestic violence and communal conflict. Her work contributed to significant judicial and systemic reforms.
